About Us

Parenting is hard work.  At every stage of your child's growth towards becoming an adult there are unique challenges.  There are also challenges that you face in your role of managing your home and work outside of the home.  When all of these are combined it can leave moms and dads pretty worn out.

Yet, parenting is also one of the greatest blessings any one of us will experience.  Parents and their children together produce amazing love and laughter, life-long memories, and offer each other the support and encouragement of a "Home."

Mobile Bay Parents aims to come alongside you every month to spur you on in this journey by sharing practical and insightful stories from local and national writers including Dave Ramsey and John Rosemond.  We also showcase hundreds of local students every year and our event calendar covers everything promoted in the area for families.  These are just a few of the ways we support your family.

Pick up your copy this month and visit our site regularly to keep up with more of the day-to-day happenings around the Mobile Bay.

Admiring the time and effort you put into your website and detailed information you offer.
It's great to come across a blog every once in a while that
isn't the same outdated rehashed information. Excellent read!

I have a child that is 15 years old that attends Augusta Evans Special School here in Mobile. The first time he brought home the magazine I read it was very interested in what was in it as for as education for our children but I think someone needs to write an article to put in the magazine for our handicaped children and some of the thing these children are capable of doing. Not only for the normal children in regular schools. I think all your readers will enjoy reading an article on these kind of children.

I am a writer who often publishes in parenting and children's magazines. Recently I published an article for teens in Listen Magazine on dealing with failure.

I have an idea for an article I'd like to write for your magazine that would be of interest to parents and teens who are applying to college.

The article would focus on gaining outstanding and unique volunteer experiences in high school in preparation for college. I am especially qualified to write this piece because I am an editor of my own writing business, English Writing Help, Inc. In the course of helping high school students write compelling college application essays, I have consulted many of them and spoke to local schools on how to nurture students to seek out unique volunteer experiences in high school. Recently I assisted a local student to work (volunteer) with a Senator which gave her a superior edge in competition for college and universities.

If you are interested, the article I would write for Mobile Bay Parents would focus on how parents and teens can seek out unique volunteer experiences in preparation for the college application.

Let me know what you think.
    Thank you.
