Phillips Preparatory is a 2019 Alabama Bicentennial School of Excellence and received the 2017 and 2018 Lagniappes Best Public School award. Phillips Preparatory offers an International Baccalaureate curriculum to over 800 students in grades 6-8 and emphasizes the International Baccalaureates learner profile: caring, knowledgeable, risk-takers, reflective, thinkers, open-minded, communicators, inquirers, principled, and balanced.
